I think being an international student is fun but it’s so tough too…
I have to manage a lot of things everyday where it is so tiring..
If not I will not able to face the next day..
I have to be discipline and have to be enterprising too..
Since I wake up from my bed until I wanna sleep again; everything have to be arranged..
here are some of my daily activities as an international student that I’ve never had before in my previous life…
First of all is when I wake up in the morning I always tidy up my bad and sweep of my room before i go to the campus..
It’s necessary to do because I have to keep my bed clean everyday ; in the contrast, at home I was so lazy to do it because there is a housekeeper mah…
Second is I have to manage my money gently..I have to limit my desire from buying and wasting money for unnecessary things.. For example is Playing game everyday at CC or Window shopping in KL.. even thought I don’t buy anything when window shopping but I obviously I will waste my money on transportation.. is it?
So staying at my desk is better than going to KL or anywhere.. except if that journey is very very useful and give a lot of advantages for me lor…
Thirdly is I have to manage my precious time,,,
This is the most important thing that i have to do as IS because in here I need to set my goals and write down my priorities , I have to make a list for everything that importance, and I have to keep everything organized. Set a date for each goal so that I will have a clear idea of what and when something needs to be accomplished. Need to make daily list of things that must be accomplished in that day. I also need to have weekly and monthly to-do lists; and I need to know how often have I wasted my time everyday ?
If I can’t organize my self and can’t manage my time..I will be distracted by a lot of distractions like friends and games. So in here I also have to learn how to say ‘no’ to the bad things like that. And force myself to say ‘yes’ to do everything good to achieve my goals and priorities.
That is how do I live as International student
So tired is it?
